PVD ‘24 VENDOR APPLICATION

NOVEMBER 23 & 24, 2024

We're looking for independent makers, manufacturers, and artists from Rhode Island and beyond who care just as much about their community as they do for their craft. If you're a good human who makes good things, then we want you to apply for The Good Trade.

Please read all of the Providence event information below before applying, as well as the Vendor FAQS, to determine if applying for The Good Trade Makers Market is right for your business.

The Good Trade will take place at WaterFire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street in Providence, RI on November 23th and 24th, 2024 from 11am to 5pm.

  • This is a 2-day event and all vendors must commit to participating for both days.

  • The event will run from 11pm to 5pm each day. Load-in starts at 8am and vendors must be fully set-up by 10am.

  • The vendor fee for the weekend is $225 for an 8’x7’ booth. If you are selected, the fee will be required as a deposit to hold your spot. This fee is non-refundable. Table rentals are available at $15/table and 1 chair is available at no cost. Additional chairs can be rented for $5/ea.

  • We strive to create an eclectic group of vendors, which means that we'll only be able to accept select vendors from each category.

  • This is an indoor-only event and will be held rain or shine.

  • Vendors are allowed to leave their displays intact overnight.

  • No tents or balloons are allowed inside the WaterFire Arts Center.

  • This is event is strictly for independent businesses who produce their own products. Please do not apply if you are a stockist, re-seller, or a multi-level marketing vendor. Please do not apply if you plan to bring items that were not designed or manufactured by yourself or your company.

  • The Good Trade abides by all Rhode Island permitting requirements. All accepted vendors must have a Rhode Island Retail Sales Permit. If you are a Rhode Island business who already has one, great! If you are an out of state business OR a Rhode Island business who does not have a Retail Sales Permit, don’t fret! Obtaining a temporary permit is a free and easy process and we’re here to walk you through it.

  • There is limited space reserved for food/beverage vendors - please feel free to reach out with questions. All accepted food and beverage vendors must supply a Certificate of Insurance and a valid license from the Rhode Island Department of Health. If you’re an out of state food or beverage vendor, we will guide you through the process of obtaining a temporary permit from the Department of Health for the event. This event is fully compostable, and all food and beverage vendors must use fully compostable materials when serving.

    • We partner with exclusive beverage partners for each event. If you’re an alcoholic OR non-alcoholic beverage brand interested in sponsoring the event, please fill out our sponsorship form HERE.

  • The Good Trade is a curated event and filling out the form below does not guarantee that you will be selected to participate.

  • Vendor applications close May 15th, 2024.

  • Final decisions will be made by June 1st and all applicants who applied prior to the deadline will be notified via email. Please add hello@goodtrademakersmarket.com as an email contact so that our communications do not end up in your spam folder.
