BTV ‘25 VENDOR APPLICATION

December 6 & 7, 2025

We're looking for independent makers, manufacturers, and artists from Vermont and beyond who care just as much about their community as they do for their craft. If you're a good human who makes good things, then we want you to apply for The Good Trade.⁠

Please read all of the Burlington event information below before applying, as well as the Vendor FAQs, to determine if applying for The Good Trade Makers Market is right for your business.

The Good Trade will take place at Hula at 50 Lakeside Drive in Burlington, VT on December 6th and 7th, 2025 from 11am to 5pm.

  • We strive to create an eclectic group of vendors, which means that we'll only be able to accept select vendors from each category. The Good Trade is a curated event and filling out the form below does not guarantee that you will be selected to participate.

  • This event is strictly for independent businesses who produce their own products. Please do not apply if you are a stockist, re-seller, or a multi-level marketing vendor. Please do not apply if you plan to bring items that were not designed or manufactured by yourself or your company.

  • This is a 2-day event and all vendors must commit to participating for both days.

  • The event will run from 11pm to 5pm each day. Load-in starts at 8am and vendors must be fully set-up by 10am.

  • The vendor fee for the weekend is $275 for an 8’x5.5’ booth. If you are selected, your vendor fee and registration contract form will be due within the timeframe provided in your acceptance letter.

  • Table rentals are available at $15/table.

  • Up to two chairs can be rented for $5/ea.

  • This is an indoor-only event and will be held rain or shine.

  • Vendors are allowed to leave their displays intact overnight.

  • Heavily discounted daily parking is available for vendors in a private and easily accessible lot. Vehicles are not permitted to be left overnight.

  • No tents, balloons, confetti, open flames, deep frying, propane are allowed inside Hula.

  • Products that contain cannabis or cannabis byproducts such as CBD and THC are not allowed at this event due to insurance stipulations.

  • Service dogs that are trained to work or perform a task for persons with disabilities are welcome. Comfort, therapy, and emotional support animals are not service animals and are not recognized by the ADA, and are not allowed, per our insurance regulations and venue restrictions.

  • The Good Trade abides by all Vermont permitting requirements. All accepted vendors must have a Vermont Sales and Use Tax Account with myVTax. If you are a Vermont business who already has one, great! If you are an out of state business OR a Vermont business who does not have a Retail Sales Permit, don’t fret! We’re here to walk you through it.

  • There is limited space reserved for food/beverage vendors - please feel free to reach out with questions. All accepted food and beverage vendors must supply a Certificate of Insurance and be up to date with the Vermont Department of Health.

    • We partner with exclusive beverage partners for each event. If you’re an alcoholic OR non-alcoholic beverage brand interested in sponsoring the event, please fill out our sponsorship form HERE.

  • The Good Trade organizes a discounted hotel blocks for vendors at local hotels.

  • Vendor applications close on May 23, 2025.
