The Good Trade Makers Market is a big fun two-day celebration of makers, artisans, and small manufacturers. Held annually in Providence, RI in November and in Burlington, VT in December, The Good Trade welcomes vendors from New England and beyond for a unique market event, featuring a bar, locally roasted coffee, pop up restaurants, sweet treats, and more.
You’ll find makers and small manufacturers from New England and beyond at both Good Trade Makers Market events. 50% of the vendors will be from the local area where the event is held, and 50% travel in from 10-15 other states. This “trade” helps small businesses grow, network with each other and collaborate, and allows them to interact with new customers.
Vendor categories include apothecary products, ceramics and pottery, apparel and accessories, textile and fabric arts, flair, candles, jewelry, gourmet food products, home goods, decor, fine art and art prints, and more!

-

Please arrive on the correct day, for the time slot you purchased tickets for. While Eventbrite lists the full length of the event when it sends reminder emails out, YOUR tickets have a date and entry time that you chose. The Good Trade Makers Market has staggered entry times, spread out over two days. Please look at your actual tickets for this info before planning your arrival.
You’re welcome to enter the event at the start time of the session you chose or later, but not earlier.

Eventbrite has recently changed their ticket delivery process, and after summer 2024, they no longer send tickets via email. Tickets are located inside the Eventbrite app, so be sure to download the app in advance and find your tickets.
In order to enter the event, you’ll need to locate your tickets via the Eventbrite ticketing platform.
If you cannot locate your tickets, you can click here to look them up via Eventbrite, using your email address.
If you cannot locate them using your email address, click here for other ways to locate your tickets via the Eventbrite platform.
Due to extensive ticket fraud, we are unable to look up tickets at check-in unless the original ticket buyer is present and has a photo ID matching the name on the tickets. If you’re buying tickets for friends and family, great! Please be sure to send them their tickets in advance, as we can’t look them up at the door without you there.
Please note that each ticket has its own unique QR code (though they may look identical), and we’ll need to scan each QR code individually.
-
Unfortunately, we can never guarantee that tickets bought on the re-sale market are valid. Ticket purchasers receive tickets via the Eventbrite app, with QR codes that are specific to each ticket. When you are buying from resellers, you may be buying tickets that have already been sold, or re-sold, more than once. QR codes will only work one time at check-in, and if you arrive and find that the QR code on your ticket has already been used, we unfortunately will not be able to let you in. Due to capacity restrictions, we cannot make any exceptions. We recommend buying your tickets early, and directly from Eventbrite.escription

As stated at the time of purchase, tickets to The Good Trade Makers Market are not refundable, but you’re welcome to share them with a friend or sell them.
-
The Good Trade Makers Market is an indoor event (with the occasional food truck outside), and will take place rain or shine.
We all know how fickle New England weather can be - so dress accordingly! As with any ticketed event, there will be a line to get in, but it moves quickly, and we’ll do our best to check everyone in as fast as possible.

Bummer - you’ll have to leave, and you won’t receive a refund.
We have a zero tolerance policy for rudeness or harassing behavior of our staff, the venue staff, vendors, and other attendees - so just don't.

The Good Trade Makers Market is an expensive event to host (insurance, venue fees, rentals, staffing and security, photography, graphic design, etc), takes a year to plan, and our little team cannot work for free. We make a SIGNIFICANT investment in marketing all of our events - literally, all of the vendor fees. We’re committed to creating a BUSY environment where our carefully curated vendor community can succeed financially, and the vendor fees we collect are used for an extensive marketing plan, including printing and distributing hundreds of posters, (literally) thousands of postcards, printing banners, digital advertising - you get the gist. Like our vendors, we’re a small business, too, and the ticket sales are how we pay ourselves and our little team for the time we spend working on the event. Without ticket sales, this event would not exist.
